About Petersburg - Palaces of Petersburg
Address: 60 Galernaya Street
metro "Sadovaya"

Bobrinsky's Palace consists of two old buildings which were designed by the architect Luigi Rusca and constructed in the 1790s. The two mansions were reconstructed and united in the first quarter of the 19 th century by the architect Andrei Mikhailov Jr. This architect enlarged the Count's mansion and transformed it into a small palace with a suite of luxuriously decorated rooms. The design of the palace is very characteristic of the Russian mansions of the late 18 th century. There is a courtyard in front of the palace. The courtyard is bordered by service buildings, and the entrance to the courtyard is marked by a monumental gate decorated with statues.

At present, the building of Bobrinsky's Palace belongs to the State University of St. Petersburg.
